My Peaceful Pad!

Howdy!

Howdy!  How's everyone?  I have been away from the blog for a few days and trying to create some new stuff to post on here.  I have made some cards for a swap that I joined, but I don't want to post pics of the cards until after everyone has received their cards.  So I will get those pics on here before too long.  I have also started working on a new project that is so flippin cool.  I love it!   I can just use whatever I want to use on it and do whatever I want to try or have been wanting to try.  Have you guessed what it is yet?  Come on I know that you can guess!!!!  Ha Ha Ha!  Ok......it is an art journal.  I love it!!!!!!!  Just whatever I want to do to it I can....paint, destress, watercolor......endless possibilities really.  A good way to relieve stress also. 

Pics to come later!  Got to go clean the house a little, and then I will be working on cleaning my scrapbook room and playing with the art journal.  Have a good day!!!

Busy!

Oh I am ready for a vacation!  I have been trying to get all this college stuff taken care of and in line because classes start on August 13th!!!!!  OH MY GOODNESS!  I can't believe it!  I am so ready to get started and jump in with both feet.  I just hope that I can find a way to pay for it all.  Where there is a will there is a way.  God takes care of His children, and I am trusting Him to do so.  I have prayed about the financial part and turned it over to Hime to take care of it for me, because I know and He knows that Nae Nae can't take it NO MORE!!!  LOL!

Anyway I am also busy making some cards for my mother's Christmas card swap that she has goingon right now.  By the time that I get done making all these cards I will be so sick of seeing and making Christmas cards that I will not want to make my acutally Christmas cards to send out this year to friends and family.  How sad is that?  Maybe I can come up with something.

Whooohooo!

I can finally see the world.  I got my new glasses today!  I can see everything.  I love them!  I got new sunglasses also, so that is sweet in of itself.  I am so glad to get my glasses.  Maybe now I won't have so many crazy headaches!!!

Guess what?  You will never guess!!  I am going to do a little crafting tonight after I eat supper!  I want to finish up those cards for a donated door prize for this weekend.  I totally think that everyone will want to win these cards!!!  They are turning out sooo stinking cute!  I will take a picture of them before I package them up and post on here.  I also have to figure out what I am going to work on and get it together and packed.  I love these events, but they are alot of hard work to pull off.  Have to plan so much and work out so many details of who is doing what and where.  It is kinda wild.....but we love it when it comes down to it.  Anyone that comes to one of our events can't walk away and say that they didn't have a good time.  There's always lots of fun and great food!  I am looking forward to it so much!!!!

What A Wonderful Day!

It was wonderful!  My mom came to visit with me today.  We had a great day of just hanging out....laughing at some of the craziest things in the world and playing some great music.  Thanks Mom!

I cleaned off my scrapbooking desk and started making a card to donate for a door prize for this weekends crop in Booneville with some ladies that I scrap with up there.  It will be at the Baptist Association Building and planning for a small crowd.  Hope to get to see some friends of mine that I haven't seen in a while.  Plus get some projects completed also.

Weekend Happenings!

Just wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone.  Sam and I have been busy yesterday afternoon and today doing things that we wanted to get done.  Yesterday we just kinda hung out here at the house for a while after his round of golf with his buddies and my day with my friends.  Today, we slept in and got up later to go grocery shopping at Sam's club for some groceries.  WOW!  Left behind some serious coins in that place I am telling you that.  Oh well, we got home and put that stuff up and just kicking back now. EXCEPT I am headed to bed with a headache.  YES, mama I have a headache today.....don't know what caused it but have one.  C-ya later!

A Good Movie!

Has anyone seen the movie Definately Maybe?  Oh me....you must go to the movie store and rent it.  It is a romantic comedy that will make you sit on the edge of your seat and wait in awl for the next moment to unfold. Not really but almost. Ha Ha!   That is just my feelings on the movie though, because I am a hopeless romantic that loves all love stories.
